Particularly trustworthy and reliable: DEHN + SÖHNE receives AEO-F certificate

DEHN + SÖHNE GmbH + Co.KG. has been accredited with “AEO-F” (Authorised Economic Operator Full) status. This internationally recognised certificate confirms that the lightning protection, surge protection and safety equipment provider is a particularly trustworthy and reliable partner in the international supply chain.

The AEO status certifies that companies comply with the high standards regarding reliability and security in international trade. The AEO-F certificate accelerates customs clearance (import and export) due to reduced customs inspections and priority clearance and allows easier access to further customs simplifications.
In order to obtain AEO-F status, DEHN + SÖHNE had to meet numerous prerequisites, for example, financial solvency, compliance measures, reliable accounting, adherence to customs regulations and safety and quality management. Moreover, DEHN + SÖHNE is approved by the Luftfahrtbundesamt (German Federal Aviation Office) as a “known consignor“ and has been meeting the high standards required concerning packaging, storage and delivery of goods for many years.

“It is important in order to ensure a consistently secure international supply chain – from the manufacturer to the end user. We have continued to optimise internal processes – with the aim of further improving the quality and security for our customers. In addition to the high standards we set ourselves with regard to service and product quality, customs simplifications ensure that we can offer our international customers shorter delivery times and a certified safety standard“, Christian Köstler, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of DEHN + SÖHNE GmbH + Co.KG., explains.

Currently, the AEO-F status is internationally recognised by the member states of the European Union, Switzerland, the USA, Norway, Japan, Andorra and China. The AEO-F certificate combines the customs simplifications of the AEO-C (Customs) status with the security-related criteria of the AEO-S (Security) status and is regarded as being the highest possible level of certification from the point of view of customs. In the course of globalisation and due to the growing threat of international terrorism, transport security in international trade is becoming increasingly important.
