Thrilling Times

Due to digitalisation, networked technology is becoming more important, equipment and components more sensitive and demands in the workplace higher. Failure of sensitive, networked technology is unthinkable and often has dire consequences.
“Connected – Secure – Convenient”, the motto of this year’s Light + Building, has also been taken up by DEHN whose stand D90 in hall 8.0 at the international trade fair for light and building technology in Frankfurt/Main from 18 – 23.03.2018 will show how to cope safely and simply with any challenges to be met in the thrilling times in which we live.

With products like, for example, the surge protection sets for residential buildings or devices with new ACI technology, DEHN makes applications safe, simple and convenient. The new
ACI technology offers assurance in terms of dimensioning whilst also saving space, time and costs. This technology has found a technical solution to problems like selecting the right back-up fuse or necessary conductor cross-section and, therefore, no longer requires an external back-up fuse.

The BLITZPLANER – the original and standard reference work on lightning and surge protection will be presented in the 4th German edition providing design engineers and installers with support in concise form. This application oriented reference book explains the standard series DIN EN 62305 and examines the DIN VDE 0100-443 and -534, newly released in the year 2016, showing the resulting changes and new requirements as well as detailed practical solutions for a wide range of applications.

Further new DEHN products include protective devices like DEHNpatch Outdoor or DEHNgate FF5 TV. Visitors can expect thrilling times at stand D90 in hall 8.0. where DEHN’s expert staff will provide information on products, practical solutions and seminars or on the test services offered in the modern, DAkkS accredited Test Centre. The support team will be at the fair to offer direct advice on dealing with standards and finding the right protection solutions.
