Position Summary

In this role, you will be working from a remote office, calling on customers in the Water/Wastewater industry and various process industries such as chemical plants, refineries, food&beverage, and oil&gas. You will be tasked with growing business in these areas together with our team. You will be unearthing new opportunities and new customers, developing a new book of business in an existing and strong market for DEHN in the US. Your conversations with customers will be highly solution driven and solution sales focused. Understanding their requirements and issues, as well as the ability to speak their lingo is critical.

Job Responsibilities

Sales Responsibility: OEM and Project Sales in the Process Industry Sector

  • Educating customers about DEHN business solutions for surge and lightning protection.
  • Developing a mix of business in the OEM and Project Sales channels.
  • Cold calling, generating new leads and prospecting new accounts. Expanding business in existing accounts.
  • Closing customer contracts and generating new sales. Using the CRM to track progress and report goals.
  • Analyzing customer needs and developing innovative solutions.
  • Managing team members and facilitating collaboration in the workplace.

Job Requirements

You have:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience selling to the Process Industry
  • Prior experience in the Water/Wastewater industry (preferred)
  • Engineering degree (preferred) or very strong technical aptitude/experience Excellent listening skills
  • Formal sales training a plus Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in a CRM environment
