BLITZDUCTORconnect

Easy. Safe. Robust.

Protects signalling and control as well as telecommunication systems
For optimal system availability

Interlockings, level crossings, point heating systems and GSM-R transmitter and receiver systems ...
All components in the railway infrastructure require professional, long-term protection against lightning and surge damage.

The universal BLITZDUCTORconnect combined arrester is the optimal solution here.

Different product types and device variants fulfil the most diverse requirements in the railway environment. The modular version of BLITZDUCTORconnect is pluggable and can be remotely monitored.

  • For reliable operation of installations and systems.
  • For safe and punctual transport of people and goods.
  • For easy, practical maintenance.
  • For remote monitoring.

Your benefits

Ensure system availability, optimise employee capacities, gain space.

  • BLITZDUCTORconnect

    Ensures system availability,
signal circuit is also available in case of overload.

    Optimises employee capacities,
    thanks to remote monitoring,
easy installation and start-up (no programming).

    Creates space,
since up to 50 devices can be monitored by a single remote signalling unit.

    Keeping systems up and running

    Keep systems up and running

The fail-open fault mode keeps systems up and running

Reliable system availability is a top priority for the smooth running of the railway infrastructure. After all, operations should continue even if an arrester has discharged surges and needs to be replaced. For example, level crossings must remain functional despite a failed arrester.

The fail-open function disconnects overloaded protection modules from the signal circuit, this means the system circuit remains available and systems continue to run as usual.

  • BLITZDUCTORconnect erleichtert die Wartung in der Bahninfrastruktur
    Optimising employee capacities

    Maintenance made easy

    How to optimise employee capacities

A suitable remote signalling unit allows you to report the status of the arresters directly to a higher-level control system.
The active transmitter and receiver unit including a passive reverse unit minimises the wiring effort during installation.

The mechanical status display provides a complete overview at all times. Failure of individual arresters due to overload is immediately apparent in the red inspection window.

  • BLITZDUCTORconnect - Modultausch leicht gemacht.
Easy maintenance with secR locking mechanism

    Safe installation without tools

This makes maintenance quick and easy

Plug-in modules must be removed precisely. The secR release buttons prevent accidental removal of an adjacent module.

Another advantage of secR: The module stays put - Even in case of vibrations.

  • DEHN BLITZDUCTORconnect - FM-Einheit überwacht bis zu 50 Ableiter
A SINGLE remote signalling unit monitors up to 50 arresters

Monitoring of up to 50 arresters

    Innovative transmitter and receiver unit

Particularly interesting for equipment suppliers in the railway sector:
BLITZDUCTORconnect allows you to monitor up to 50 arresters by means of a single unit.
Additional parameterisation of the arresters is not necessary.

  • BLITZDUCTORconnect Installation Schritt 1
    Always the right choice

    Compact or modular?

The right arrester for every application

You have the choice between compact and modular BLITZDUCTORconnect devices. Both the compact and the modular arresters have a width of only 6 mm.

Modular arresters consist of a base part and protection module. The module locking mechanism firmly fixes the module to the base part: It is shock and vibration-tested.
Advantage in terms of maintenance: In the event of a failure, you simply replace the overloaded module and surge protection for the system is quickly restored without rewiring.

BLITZDUCTORconnect for use in the railway infrastructure

In the railway infrastructure, there is an increasing requirement to protect all train control systems. This applies to signalling and control systems as well as telecommunication technology.

BLITZDUCTORconnect meets all requirements and optimally protects the train control systems by means of simple remote monitoring.

This allows you to easily meet all requirements and ensure permanent availability of the following systems:

  • Signalling systems (electronic interlockings, relay interlockings, level crossing systems)
  • Electric locally operated points
  • Telecommunication systems

secR module locking mechanism - vibration-proof and easy to service

The green/red status display clearly shows whether an arrester is faulty. Replacement is then quick and easy.

No tools and just two buttons are required to safely remove the module. Only the affected module is removed with no danger of accidentally releasing adjacent modules.

This is a major advantage when it comes to saving time during maintenance.

Another advantage of the secR locking mechanism:
It prevents the surge protection modules from working loose as a result of shock or vibration
