Setting the right basis 

Whether existing or new buildings, a functioning earth-termination system is the prerequisite for the safe operation of electric systems in buildings and for protecting people from dangerous high voltages.

The design and implementation of the earth-termination system are of central importance since omissions or errors during the construction phase cannot be corrected later or, at least, not without a great deal of effort and expense. After the concrete has set, it is no longer possible to retrofit the earth-termination system, e.g. in the form of a foundation earth electrode.

A - Foundation earth electrode

Round wire, St/tZn, Ø10 mm

Steel wire according to EN 62561-2 with zinc coating ≥ 50 µm average (about 350 g/m2), for lightning protection and earth-termination systems.

Steel strip, St/tZn

Steel strip according to EN 62561-2 with zinc coating ≥ 70 µm average (about 500 g/m2), for lightning protection and earth-termination systems.

Rebar clip DEHNclip Rd 8* / Rd 10

Connecting clamp tested according to EN 62561-1, for connecting reinforcement steel meshes or reinforcements with round conductors. The rebar clip allows safe, fast and easy connection of earthing materials to reinforcement parts without tools.

Cross unit according to EN 62561-1, for aboveground and underground connection of round and flat conductors. Version with intermediate plate and M8 screws.

Sealing collar for round conductors

For bushings of watertight foundation slabs / walls (e.g. white tank). Water-pressure-tight version can be pushed on round conductors with stainless steel tensioning straps.
Water pressure test up to 1 bar with an installation depth of 10 m in stagnant water, additionally tested with 5 bar compressed air according to EN 62561-5.

 

Sealing collar for flat conductors

For bushings of watertight foundation slabs / walls (e.g. white tank). Water-pressure-tight version can be pushed on flat conductors with stainless steel tensioning straps.

B - Ring earth electrode

Cross unit StSt (V4A)

Cross unit according to EN 62561-1, for aboveground and underground connection of round and flat conductors. Version with intermediate plate and M8 screws.

Anti-corrosion tape

To be wrapped around aboveground and underground connections and for use in the soil according to DIN 30672. 

C - Main equipotential bonding

Fixed earthing terminal, StSt (V4A)

Fixed earthing terminal according to EN 62561-1, for corrosion-free connection of the down conductor, e.g. to the reinforcement of buildings or the earth-termination system, for protective equipotential bonding and / or functional equipotential bonding, installation in the formwork.

Equipotential bonding bar K12

Equipotential bonding bar according to EN 62561-1, for protective and functional equipotential bonding according to EN 60364-4-41/EN 60364-5-54 (main earthing busbar) and lightning equipotential bonding according to EN 62305-3.

Connecting clamp with threaded bolt

For connecting round and flat conductors to fixed earthing terminals with M10 / 12 thread. Also suitable for installation on the reverse side of the fixed earthing terminal without terminal axis, e.g. for flat strips.

D - Earth entry

Terminal lug Rd 10mm (V4A)

Round wire according to EN 62561-2, in the form of a terminal lug, made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel (V4A), for connecting the down conductors to the earth-termination system.

Conductor holder DEHNhold

Conductor holder with slotted cleat, for fixing round conductors. Can be used for different materials, e.g. Al, StSt, St/tZn and Cu, fixed conductor routing.

UNI disconnecting clamp

UNI disconnecting clamp (StSt) according to EN 62561-1, for connecting the down conductor with the earth entry. Version without intermediate plate for two round conductors.
