DEHN protects the railway infrastructure

Be it with lightning and surge protection for electronic and digital interlockings, for level crossings or point heaters - “DEHN protects the railway infrastructure”. With this motto, DEHN will be at InnoTrans, the leading international fair for transport technology, in Berlin from 18th to 21st September, 2018. At stand 218 in hall 11.1, DEHN will feature practical lightning and surge protection solutions with which to prevent costly downtime and operational disruptions. The experts at DEHN will provide information on individual solutions, the seminars available at the DEHNacademy and the testing services offered in the laboratories.

DEHN provides products and solutions to protect systems against the effects of lightning and surges so that all the components in the railway infrastructure function safely and reliably. Comprehensive, individually adjusted concepts by DEHN protect electronic and digital interlockings as well as GSM-R transmitting and receiving systems which, due to their exposed position, are at a higher risk of direct lightning strike. DEHN also offers an extensive range of products and solutions for the lightning and surge protection of level crossing systems, point heaters and direct current railway systems.

On the theme of occupational safety, a number of products, whether voltage detectors or digital inspection cameras, from the DEHN safety equipment range can be tried out and tested at the fair.

With DEHN’s know-how and experience, sustainable lightning and surge protection and safety equipment concepts can be developed and existing solutions improved for railway applications. Risk analyses, engineering services and testing services make it possible to provide individually adjusted solutions to suit the special requirements of the relevant system. DEHN stands for comprehensive service - starting with technical articles and protection solutions and extending to seminars and testing services.
