A risk analysis according to Edition 3 of IEC 62305-2 is offered in our new DEHNrisk Web tool, depending on the publication of the country-specific standard adaptations, and is not part of the DEHNsupport toolbox.
The DEHNsupport Toolbox will no longer be developed further and support is expected to end at the end of 2027.

Which module for what?
The DEHNsupport Toolbox is available as a basic, distance and free demo version. Each version contains various modules, including the DEHN Risk Tool for risk analyses according to IEC 62305 Edition 1 and 2.
Risk management based on IEC 62305-2 Edition 1 and 2
The DEHN Risk Tool is used to create the risk analysis. You assess the risk potential of structures taking into account the building properties and usage. With targeted protective measures, you reduce the risk here.
For a risk analysis in an international context, you plan on the basis of the country-specific standards and the corresponding calculation values.

Calculating separation distances
With the DEHN Distance Tool, you can determine the standard-compliant separation distance using calculations based on nodal analysis. Templates for different building constellations make your work easier and save time.
Calculate air-termination rod lengths
With the DEHN Air-Termination Tool, you calculate the air-termination rod lengths as per IEC 62305-3 according to the protection class of the lightning protection system. You determine the dimensioning of the protection zones depending on the height of the air-termination rod.
Calculate earth electrode lengths
With the DEHN Earthing Tool, you calculate the required length of the earth electrode, taking into account the type of earth electrode and the soil resistivity.
