System protection for building automation

BLITZDUCTORconnect and DEHNpatch offer reliable protection against lightning and surge voltages. In combination with the DEHNrecord IRCM remote signalling unit, permanent status monitoring of the two arrester series is possible. The arresters in the individual product series protect the measuring and control circuits, Ethernet infrastructure and bus and telecommunications interfaces against damage caused by lightning and surge events.

The DEHNpatch is versatile and protects hardware and data effectively. The space-saving combined arrester with status indication and remote signalling option protects applications in structured cabling systems according to class EA up to 500 MHz.  

Applications in the building

The DEHNpatch protects communication systems of building infrastructure (e.g. heating and ventilation) and the communication interfaces of fire alarm systems, IP cameras, PoE camera systems, access monitoring and control systems.

E-mobility

The DEHNpatch protects Ethernet interfaces of the charging infrastructure so that the charging electronics function reliably.
