Stefan Perras - Head of Predevelopment and Innovation, SIEMENS

 

Stefan Perras is currently Head of Predevelopment and Innovation at Siemens' e-mobility business.

He started his career at Siemens in the inhouse consultancy where he managed projects primarily in the energy sector in several countries.

After that he was Head of Strategy as well as Head of the Service Business of the Siemens Transmission Solution Business Unit.

Has studied Innovation and Technology Management and holds a PhD in Power Transmission Line planning.

Rainer Ziehmer - Business Development Manager Personal Protection, DEHN SE

 

Rainer Ziehmer started his career at AEG Telefunken as power electronics technician. He then completed training as a state-certified electrical engineering technician with a focus on power engineering.

He moved on to sales engineering in different electrical departments at STIEBEL ELTRON, Lütze and DEHN + SÖHNE.

In 2010 he took on a position as Product Manager for Safety Equipment/Arc Fault Protection at DEHN + SÖHNE, then became Head of Safety Equipment/Arc Fault Protection Product Management in 2016.

Since 2019, he has been Business Development Manager for Personal Protection at DEHN SE.

Josef Birkl - Senior Engineering Specialist, DEHN SE

 

Josef Birkl has worked for DEHN since 1993.

He ran the DEHN Test Centre - an accredicted lightning test facility – for almost 30 years and, together with his team, developed it into one of most powerful lightning protection laboratories in the world.

For more than 20 years now, Mr Birkl has been committed to promoting the standardization of the correct application of lightning protection, surge protection and earthing. Since 2021, he has been responsible for the coordination of standardization and association activities at DEHN.

Mr Birkl is a member of various national and international working groups at VDE DKE, CENELEC, IEC and DIN, some of which he chairs.

Jochen Runggaldier - Technical Manager BU Energy | BU Infrastructure | BU Safety | MV/HV, DEHN ITALIA S.p.A.

 

Jochen Runggaldier has been a Technical Applications Engineer at DEHN ITALIA for 20 years and – for the past three years – he has been responsible for Business Units Energy, Infrastructure, Safety, Medium and High Voltage surge arresters.

He is closely collaborating with PMs and BDMs at headquarters to develop new products for the e-mobility market.

Frederik Süllwald - Head of Sales Utilities & Key Accounts, INTILION

 

Frederik Süllwald was with HOPPECKE for seven years and worked in an international environment (with a focus on the UK) in sales and business development for stationary storage systems.

He became responsible for sales of lithium-ion energy storage at INTILION from the HOPPECKE Group in 2019.

Since 2021 he has been Head of Sales Utilities & Key Accounts and thus a support for national and international municipal utilities, municipalities and key customers.

Matthias Kötter - Head of Sales, Wystrach GmbH

 

Matthias Kötter studied mechatronics in Aachen, Germany, and then spent 13 years working for an international research and development company in the automotive sector.

In addition to developing powertrains for cars and trucks, he managed major R&D projects for several years.

Mr Kötter has also worked in worldwide technical sales for automotive R&D.

In 2020, he joined Wystrach GmbH as Head of Sales aiming at strategically aligning sales within the highly dynamic hydrogen industry, always focusing on the customers and their specific demand.

Tobias Braun - Team Leader Global Business Development, DEHN SE

 

Tobias Braun graduated in Electrical Engineering at the University of Applied Science in Nuremberg, Germany.

He was an Electrical Engineer and Head of Product Development at Baer Industrie-Elektronik GmbH in Nuremberg.

Then he moved on to be Product Manager at DEHN SE, took over responsibilities as Business Development Manager Oil & Gas at DEHN SE and is now Team Leader for Global Business Development at DEHN SE.
