The challenge
KAMPA energy-plus houses are equipped with the innovative energy and climate solution from Viessmann as standard. In addition to a climate-friendly heat pump with heat recovery, floor heating and cooling in summer and the VIESSMANN ventilation system, which also regulates the humidity, it also includes a photovoltaic system with battery storage and energy management.
It is particularly important that this networked system is optimally protected in the event of a thunderstorm. This is because the overvoltages resulting from a lightning strike can pose a danger to electrical and electronic components.
The solution
KAMPA has therefore opted for a reliable protection concept from DEHN. The overvoltage protection is integrated into the bus system of KAMPA prefabricated houses. As standard.
The house connection (incoming power supply lines) is protected with the DEHNshield ZP Basic combined arrester. DEHNgate FF5 TV protects the cable and broadband connection and DEHNbox, alternatively DEHNgate, was selected for the telephone/DSL connection. DEHNcube also protects the inverter in the photovoltaic system.
