GROUND CUBE from SISTEMS

The challenge

The GROUND CUBE houses everything from the heating and ventilation to the domestic water connection: electricity, water, waste water, district heating, gas and telecommunications as well as the electrical metering systems. Residential ventilation, inverters and battery storage systems can also be installed here.  

This important technology forms the basis for comfort, safety and effective energy management. To ensure that everything runs reliably, the highly sensitive components must be optimally protected. Also against damage caused by overvoltage, as can occur during thunderstorms or remote lightning strikes.

The solution

DEHN offers reliable protection: The Type 1+2+3 DEHNshield ZP combined arrester is used in the GROUND CUBE upstream of the meter. With the powerful RAC spark gap technology from DEHN, it protects the entire electrical installation close to the supply point. It provides compact lightning equipotential bonding, including certified protection of terminal equipment.

DEHNshield ZP protects the central building services against surges. And in the long term, it protects sensitive terminal equipment such as inverters, battery storage systems and heat pumps by significantly reducing residual energy.
