The challenge

Availability is the top priority for a public swimming pool like the Stegermatt waterpark. A short-circuit-related failure of the power supply could result in the pool being closed for up to 4 weeks. This would be difficult to communicate to the public and would mean huge damage to the operator's image.

The technical operations of the city of Offenburg were convinced of the advantages of an arc fault protection system.

The solution

With the DEHNshort arc fault protection system, Freizeitbad Stegermatt has laid an important building block for system availability.

The investment is low in relation to the total volume, and the main distribution board, an important artery of the waterpark, is now permanently protected against outages caused by arc faults.
