Basic technologies for arresters for power supply systems
actiVsense
The actiVsense technology is an arrester technology that is used in universal combined arresters to protect information technology systems and devices. The arrester automatically recognises the applied signal voltage and always optimally adjusts the protection level within a voltage range of up to 180 V. This means that the arrester can be used universally at different interfaces and always offers the best possible protection for the connected devices and system circuits in the event of malfunctions.
RFID LifeCheck
Repeated arrester operations that go beyond what the device is rated for can overload arresters in information technology systems. To ensure high system availability, it is therefore sensible to have arresters undergo systematic tests. LifeCheck enables quick and easy arrester testing. RFID LifeCheck constantly monitors the status of the arrester. It recognises electrical and thermal loads on all protective components – so you are always reliably informed.
